U18 Registration Process
When you reach U18 there are always many options for players whether they decide to play AAA, AA, High School, Double Roster or play A. Whether we host a Stars or Saints team depends on the number of players who register in our area. No matter what level you wish to play at, we can assure you that there will be a place to play somewhere in the city.
U18AA tryouts are not centralized. If an area decides to host a AA team they will run their own tryouts. If you are planning to tryout, you will be notified to go and register for those tryouts should you wish to go the AA route.
First Steps:
1. You must register for U18A with your home association whether that is TMHA or SBMHA. If you wish to tryout for AA, you will need to wait and see who will be hosting a team and when that registration is open for those tryouts.
2. Once we receive the lists of players registered (after registration closes) players will be contacted and asked their intentions of what level of play they would be interested in.
3. As we prepare for the season and have direction from Hockey Winnipeg or the hosting associations, we will contact families again to let them know what the plan is for A/AA moving forward.
